It's Labor Thanksgiving Day in Japan, a time to honor hard work and dedication, and the anime and gaming worlds are coming out in full force to celebrate! All across the internet, studios, artists, and creators have unleashed a wave of incredible art and heartfelt messages to thank everyone—from their own staff to the fans who support them. It’s a massive outpouring of appreciation, and we're here for every single bit of it!
Leading the charge are some of the most fitting series you can imagine! The team behind SHIROBAKO, the quintessential anime about the hard work of making anime, shared a fantastic tribute. And how could we forget the tireless efforts of Franchouchou? The official Zombie Land Saga account dropped a message thanking our favorite undead idols for their undying hustle. Even Hiromu Arakawa's farming-focused series, Hyakushō Kizoku, got in on the action, reminding us of the tough but rewarding work that goes into our food!
The celebration doesn't stop with anime! The gaming industry has also joined the party with some epic tributes. We've seen thanks from the developers of the smash-hit Palworld, the art team from the gorgeous world of Granblue Fantasy, and even a nod from the Resident Evil series (we're thankful for anyone who works hard enough to survive Raccoon City!).
